Wouldn’t it be nice to be in the position where you can smoke some ganja ‘whenever’ and ‘wherever’ you want? I thought it would always be a dream but I finally learnt how to grow weed and got it handled. I’m just your average person who enjoys a good smoke but I was in a frustrated place where I was sick of paying money for weed and running out when I needed it most. I searched high and low for good information on growing ganja and to be honest I found some pretty good information out there. Piecing it all together when alot of it conflicted with each other and implementing it properly only gave me wasted time and effort. It wasn’t until I came across Ryan Rileys guide that things started to work like magic. I want to share a few things I’ve learnt from my experience of growing marijuana that will help you straight away.
Before growing your own crops you need to realise the security measures that must be taken to ensure you are not caught out. All around the world there are serious penalties for people who are deemed to be cultivating weed that can literally have them thrown in jail in under an hour.
It is highly advised for any grower to not throw out any garbage that could show evidence that you grow. Authorities sort through trash like rats to discover any evidence such as the packaging that seeds come in and clipping of your plants so they can make a case against gardeners. Many growers live by the motto “loose lips sink ships.”
Never have any seeds or marijuana related products shipped to your home address. Many authority agencies have special task squads to keep a track on grow shops and look through the items that are being sold to outside customers. If a customer is thought to be involved in suspicious activities the police can obtain permission to find out what other things have been bought by use of the same credit card or another electronic money transfer system. How to avoid this predicament? Pay with cash!
Indoors
When growing indoors many experienced growers have considered certain risks they may pop up such as a friend or stranger coming to the house unexpectedly or visits from a repairman or gasman for example. These growers have allocated a closet nearby where they can very quickly move their pants to in under a minute if any visitors do unexpectedly show up. This security closet is always kept in very close proximity to their grow area.
Another issue that arises for indoor growers is that the smell of their plants can be incredibly powerful and potent. If a grower were to live in an apartment block then the only way they would be able to cover up the smell would be through the use of an extractor fan. These indoor fans can be used to pump out any unwanted smell away from the apartment corridors to through a window outside, or another area, where the smell will not be noticed. This will ultimately bring fresh air into the apartment which will only enhance the plant growth.
The last main problem that indoor cultivation faces is the threat of fire. It is scary how many growers use terribly poor quality light bulbs and fixtures for their plants which is a nightmare waiting to happen. The most simple advice is to avoid using a lighting kit and fixtures that have any signs of damage or that are truly not suitable for indoor use at all.
There are countless stories of people who have lost their homes because they never took the time to invest in the proper lighting equipment for themselves. Taking any sort of shortcut in this part of your cultivation can easily lead you to arrive home one day and find a fire brigade and nothing but a smouldering furnace before your eyes which you used to call your house.
On top of this the fire department is able to recognise the cause of the fire and all of a sudden the police are investigating why there are the signs of marijuana development here. So do not just skim over this crucial area. Always invest in a proper lighting system that is safe for you and your plants and also is good for reducing the amount of electricity that you use as this sudden peak of electricity usage can be an alarm for authorities to become very suspicious.
